Lancaster Ridge was developed by Knoxville based builder Saddlebrook Homes with the first home sold in 2004. Particularly convenient location just off of Steele Road and nearby Hardin Valley Road. Within walking distance of Hardin Valley Elementary and Hardin Valley Middle School and a short drive to Pellissippi Parkway and I-40. Homes are predominantly 2 story but some ranchers with and without bonus rooms can be found along with a limited number of homes with basements. Several open area common spaces have been reserved for neighborhood use. Residents can also enjoy sidewalks and the neighborhood pool. Most homes have brick fronts with vinyl sides. Given the median age of build, be mindful of the HVACs and water heaters being at the end their average life cycles. Cathedral ceilings, trey ceilings in the master and 2 story foyers are popular with the remainder of the ceiling heights typically at the standard height of 8 feet. Home buyers should anticipate encountering a wide variety of finishes between houses. Kitchen counters may be formica, solid surface or granite with wet space flooring being either linoleum or tile. Hardwood floors running throughout the home is commonly found as is a mixture with carpeting in the bedrooms and living spaces.
